The Dark Knight OST
Wasn't a big fan of the Batman Begins OST, had its moments but they were few & far between & no gorram main theme. TDK improves on BB keeping some of the themes used in BB but makes them more interesting & throws a few new things into the mix like the two note Joker theme which is about 20 seconds, bizzare but I guess it will suit him in TDK when I finally see it next week. Only one complaint is Hans Zimmer, yeah yeah he's a great composer but he's too repetive how many gorram times has he used the same themes from Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc in almost all of his soundtracks though he's not quite as bad with TDK instead just using the themes from BB every 5sec, but the tracks composed by James Newton Howard shine the most. |
